With the Electric Bike doing all the hard work you are free to enjoy the changing scenery and the peace and quiet.
Within the Forest of Bowland, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is a network of 3 Electric Bike Hire Stations and a further 11 Charging Points. Clerk Laithe Lodge is a Hire Station and Charging Point.
Hire an Electric Bike, and with the provided maps at your disposal, take a journey of discovery along the roads and lanes of this hidden gem of England. The Forest of Bowland is known as a cyclists paradise and an Electric Bike brings that pleasure to the normally less energetic amongst us.
Photo ID is required as you complete the Hire Form
You are responsible for damage caused to the Bike(s) whilst on hire
Charging the battery of your hired bike is free to customers of the charging stations in the Forest of Bowland area
The range of a bike on a full charge is from 20 to 30 miles
A top up charge takes about 20 minutes per bike
Full details of the Charging Points are provided along with Ordnance Survey maps of the Forest of Bowland area
Cycle Helmets and security locks are also provided
The minimum age for the use of our Electric Bikes is 14 years
